3.. 2.. 1..
First, I want to wish you all to have a very happy new year!
You might have a list full of things you want achieve in 2014 (I have one too) and hopefully all your wishes will come true. And because you all might be busy celebrating, I will keep this short and leave below my ‘lucky 13’ of 2013:
Best Series: The Lunar Chronicles
Best (series) Debut(s): These Broken Stars and Pivot Point
Best (series) Ending(s): Champion and Seeing Light
Best Middle Book(s): The Eternity Cure and Haze
Best Standalone(s): Torched and All Our Yesterdays*
Cutest Short-Novel: Night of Cake & Puppets [no review yet]
Best Film Adaptation: Catching Fire
And the one I always come back to: Jellicoe Road
HAPPY MIDNIGHT READING, EVERYONE!
*Note: in the meantime it had been announced that ALL OUR YESTERDAYS will become a series,
but I thought of it as a standalone back then and I will keep it like this in here,
as I am still unsure if it’s such a good idea to have a sequel.
It was perfect as it was!

Now..
If you have enough time for some book recommendations, here is the list of the books I read, re-read or got bored while reading. Some of them link to my reviews from this blog, some have only short notes on GoodReads and some of them might be missing from the list (I hope that’s not the case).
I know, it’s not a very big list, been quite busy this year, so you can recommend me the books you’ve loved – to put them on my 2014 list 😉
Oh, boo! I still comment from my computer (thanks God for libraries!)
I saw this post via email and I absolutely loved your list! It’s awesome!!! I have read a lot of those books and I want to read all those that I still haven’t!
All our yesterdays was AMAZING!!! (thank you -again- for that wonderful review!)
I loved so many of those books too. Usually I try to pick up only books that I am pretty sure I might like (but as you can see, there are books that seem wonderful when you read about them, and not so much when you actually read them) 😀
I am glad that you liked “All Our Yesterdays” this much, I loved it from the first chapter till the very last too 😀
what a fun post full of books!! I love the images you have with each book 🙂
I’ve been doing those images since before starting the blog (on Goodreads as you might know). They didn’t fit anywhere in the reviews here, so I have then in the ‘visual archives’ and from time to time I use them in a post. Sometimes I like better creating graphics representing the story than writing a full review, LOL!
